How Appliqué Digitizing Works
Unlike standard embroidery, an appliqué file isn't just one continuous stitch-out — it's built in stages. First, a placement line shows where to lay the fabric. Then a tackdown stitch holds it down before the excess is trimmed away. Finally, a border stitch (usually satin) finishes the edge. We build each stage so it lines up correctly on your machine, without gaps or fabric shifting mid-stitch.
